Greetings from the Grade 4/5 Class,

I can't believe there is only one month to go before the end of school!  Where does the time go?  I sure hope the weather cooperates for our trip to Galiano for Sports Day.

This month we have been busy working on finishing our Math unit on Time and we have now moved on to Multiplication.  The students in my group are working up to their 12 times tables.  In Social Studies we are finishing our research project about the Haida people, and in Science we are learning about the properties of Light.  We are also working on a neat Father's Day craft as well.

June is going to be a busy month filled with fun activities such as the school wide field trip, as well as our final classroom field trip!  A big thank you to all you parents who make sure your students get to school on time every day.

Our class is holding a raffle with proceeds going towards class activities.  Tickets will be available at the school and from Grade 4/5 students.   The draw will be on June 29^th at the school.
