Sadly we are approaching the end of the school year. Soon the grade 3’s will be graduating into a new classroom, and we will be welcoming a brand new set of grade 1’s. This has been a terrific term…we are now winding down our Science unit on Matter.
We have learned how temperature can change the atoms in a liquid to make it solid, and how atoms separate. To demonstrate, we made jello, cake, butter, popsicles, icecream, goo, and a rainjar. Grades 1-2-3 have been excellent scientists, and kept records of our findings after each experiment. As for our classroom year end fieldtrip, we have not yet decided where to go…but we must decide soon…there are very few days left! Happy June!
